Did anyone else get this email from Yahoo?
Okay… so I just found out that I was not supposed to talk about a private beta that I am involved in. I thought I was allowed to talk about it but found out I couldn’t.
Sorry about that.
Ok, so Robert Cialdini is the keynote speaker at Affiliate Summit West 2010.
This is pretty exciting because I’ve written blog articles about his teachings and how they can be applied to affiliate marketing.

Recently we launched a new desktop application for Windows, Macs and Linux computers. You can check your Zoosk messages without ever opening up your internet browser… SICK
Our community manager wrote a blog about it recently: http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=115921932882
Outside of the part where she mentions “download here” is her quote “Monday just went from blaaaahhh to YAYYYYY”
If you have not checked out Zoosk — you should.
Is it just me or does my voice on video make me sound like a 13 year old who hasn’t hit puberty yet?
You check it out and let me know your thoughts.

Either way, thanks again Eric for having me in the video. I’ll try to post a more appropriate follow-up from ASE 2009 over the weekend.
So some legal issues in France has occurred where you can no longer create ads targeted for gays and lesbians through Facebook self-serve. The same goes for straight people, too.
This is interesting because normally you would want a picture of a guy for gay men and a picture of a woman for straight men… Now you can no longer make this distinction.
It will be interesting to see how this affects click-through-rates on dating campaigns in France and whether this will spread to other countries as well.

I will be in NYC from August 7th to 11th
Let me know if you want to meet up.
